PETALING JAYA: Hoteliers are looking forward to the June 1 implementation of the National Foreigners Enforcement and Registration System (NERS). Malaysia Association of Hotel (MAH)-Selangor chapter's security and safety committee chairman Mohamad Ibrahim Gulam Kader said the idea to have the system was mulled in 2008 when hotels in the Klang Valley were being hit hard by foreign criminals.
